It seems that America’s recession as generated some good news for people seeking ways of making cuts on the IDT Energy or other utility service provider bills.  According to a survey conducted by the Deloitte Center for Energy Solutions, Americans are trying to find more ways to save money because of the recession and one method they are focused on is energy-efficiency. If conducted well, this will have a domino affect of reducing one’s IDT Energy bills.

Even while America and the global economy is seeing some recovery, there is still a fear that things could go awry again and thus people are wary of getting too comfortable; hence they want to keep reducing costs wherever possible.  Given that there are many ways for one to reduce their utility bills – both at home and in the office – people are doing this, without really feeling on it.  Indeed, according to Vice Chairman of the Energy and Resources Sector at Deloitte LLP, Greg Aliff, “the recession is profoundly changing energy habits for both businesses and consumers. Using less may be the new normal, from boardroom tables to the kitchen tables.”
